Campuses:
University of Minnesota students enrolled in online and distance courses should attempt to resolve complaints by following the University’s complaint process as specified for each campus. If you wish to file a complaint about the University with its accreditor regarding issues of institutional quality, you may do so by contacting the Higher Learning Commission.
If you are residing outside Minnesota while attending the University of Minnesota, in many cases, you can file a complaint in the state where you reside. As required by federal regulations, we are providing a list of state contacts compiled and updated by the State Higher Education Executive Officers organization.
