Use Online Credit Courses for Your Current Degree Program

All campuses of the University of Minnesota offer online courses.

U of M student taking online course from your campus

Register via One Stop, the same way you do for your classroom-based courses.

U of M student taking online course from different U of M campus

Fill out a copy the multi-institutional form and have it processed by your home U of M campus. A separate form is needed for each campus from where you wish to take a course. You will also need to consult with your college adviser and financial aid office to complete the application.

Non-U of M student taking online course

To register for the course, follow the links below for the campus offering the course:

  • Twin Cities - follow the instructions on One Stop for non-degree students
  • Crookston - contact the Center for Adult Learning at cronline@umn.edu or 218-281-8681 to determine eligibility and space availability.
  • Duluth - follow the instructions on the Continuing Education website
  • Morris - follow the Morris Online Learning instructions for non-U of M students online form

Important Information

Students currently enrolled on one campus should check with an adviser before taking courses at another campus to ensure the course will meet their general education and/or major requirements.
