Home > Degree Completion
Do you already have college credit and want to complete a degree online? The University of Minnesota offers two programs that students can complete online from anywhere in the world. These programs have been specifically designed for students who have earned a significant number of credits and need a new option for completing their studies.
Both degree completion programs can be customized by students according to their interests and previous coursework.
The Applied Studies degree combines a liberal education core of 40 credits, a 3-credit technology requirement, a 27-credit first area of study, an 18-credit second area of study, three courses in Applied Studies, and electives to meet the 120-credit graduation requirement. Each student works to plan a program which meets their career objectives.
