Multidisciplinary Studies

Designed for working adults seeking to finish an undergraduate degree for career advancement or personal fulfillment, multidisciplinary studies (MdS) lets students tailor a degree program to fit their needs and interests. Students focus their coursework in three of five areas of concentration, choosing from Arts and Humanities, History and Social Sciences, Communication, Science and Health Science, and Applied, Technical and Professional studies. Because these five areas of concentration incorporate coursework from several departments, MdS is well-suited for students who have earned 50 or more credits from a variety of academic programs from which they want to construct a cohesive program of study. Academic advisers work closely with each student in the MdS program to help them integrate earlier studies with new coursework to map the most efficient route to degree completion.
